Learning Outcomes:
- Students will gain understanding of and confidence in
the management of different seizure types
- Students will develop and understanding of specific
treatment issues that are unique to this client group
- Students will gain insight into the psychosocial issues

- Students will appreciate the importance of accurate
recording of seizures and good communication with relevant
others and the importance of a multidisciplinary
approach
- Have a greater understanding of risk assessment, and
assimilate this information to their individual environment
and service user group
- All will be able to recognise the emergency situation
and act as appropriate
- Training will facilitate best practice and ensure that
